About Bernie & Phyl's Furniture
Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture is the largest privately owned furniture
retailer in Massachusetts. Our company has grown from a small storefront into
one of the fastest growing furniture companies in the state with five stores
in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire and over 450 employees. Bernie &
Phyl’s has been listed as one of the “Top 100 U.S. Furniture Stores”
by Furniture/Today for each year since 2000.
Along the way, our company has garnered numerous awards.

As a successful business, Bernie & Phyl’s believes it is our obligation
to give back to those who are less fortunate. Our Friends In Need program regularly
donates furniture to charitable organizations. In the last three years, we have
donated over $1.2 million worth of furniture to Morgan Memorial Goodwill and
Teen Challenge New England. Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture also has donated
furniture to over 25 Habitat for Humanity houses across Massachusetts and New
Hampshire. We also assisted the displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina. Our
company is involved in many other community initiatives outside of furniture
donations. These include holding annual Red Cross blood drives in our stores,
the annual Bernie’s Baseball Buddies program, sponsoring youth sports
teams in local communities, and many public service television sponsorships
with media partners.
While taking care of people in need is important to us, taking care of our
customers’ every need is our ultimate goal. This is what we strive to
