This warranty applies to clear coated or lacquered wood furniture that becomes permanently stained from any food or beverage normally consumed by humans, stains from gum, nail polish or nail polish remover. This warranty also applies to damage caused by accidental heat marks and liquid rings, accidental scratches or gouges that penetrate the clear coat finish, accidental chips or dents. Also covered are checking, cracking, bubbling or peeling of the clear coat finish, accidental structural damage to the wood frame or assembly joints, accidental scratching or chipping of glass components and loss of silvering of mirrors. All claims must be reported to Bernie & Phyl's by the original purchaser within five (5) days of the date of one of the above mentioned incidents. Stains caused by food or beverage spills must first be treated with the furniture cream that is provided, at the time of occurrence. In the event that the stain becomes permanent and the furniture cream provided does not remove the stain or in the event of an accidental heat mark, liquid rings, scratches or accidental structural damage, under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty. Bernie and Phyl's, at its discretion, will provide the following services:

• Have the stained area cleaned, and re-treated by an authorized Bernie and Phyl's technician to the fullest possible degree at no cost to the customer.
• If the stain cannot be removed by a Bernie and Phyl's technician, we will re-refinish the stained area to the fullest possible degree. Bernie and Phyl's reserves the right to service the affected piece in the home or pick it up for shop repair if necessary within 50 miles of closest store.
• Have the heat marked, liquid marked, scratched, and accidental structural damaged area serviced by an authorized Bernie and Phyl's technician to the fullest possible degree at no cost to the customer. If steps 1 thru 3 cannot be accomplished, at Bernie and Phyl's discretion, the affected piece only will be replaced upon return or the original purchaser may reselect a new piece of furniture of equal value and quality.
• Once the piece has been replaced, the warranty has been fulfilled and a new warranty would need to be purchased under the same terms and conditions.

• Any heat marks, liquid stains or gouges caused by an act of abuse, neglect, vandalism or surface scratches in the clear coat finish.
• Misuse of the wood surfaces or acts that would cause abnormal discoloration or deterioration of the wood finish, normal soiling, damage from fire, flood, wind, lightning, hail, snow, rain, sun, harsh or corrosive chemicals, acids, fertilizers, bleach, ink, dyes, paints, hair care products, cosmetics or accumulated multiple stains.
• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods or improper cleaning materials that were used other than Bernie and Phyl's.
• Furniture that has been located in a business, commercial facility, storage facility, outdoors, school, dorm or rental property.
• Damage caused by moving furniture.

This warranty covers stains, on finished, top coated leather, vinyl or polyurethane from foods or beverages, stains from human or pet bodily fluids, stains from grass, grease, ballpoint pens, ink or markers, stains from gum, nail polish or nail polish remover, cosmetics, lipstick and crayons as well as accidental rips, cuts, burns and punctures. All claims must be reported to Bernie & Phyl's by the original purchaser within five (5) days of the date of one of the above mentioned incidents. In the event of a permanent stain caused by any covered substance you must first blot excess fluids with a soft absorbent cloth. In the event the stain becomes permanent or if you have an accidental rip, tear, burn or puncture under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, Bernie and Phyl's, at its discretion, will provide the following services:

• Have the stained area cleaned, and re-treated by an authorized Bernie and Phyl's technician to the fullest possible degree at no cost to the customer.

• If the torn, burned or punctured area cannot be repaired by a Bernie and Phyl's technician, we will reupholster the area to the fullest possible degree.

If steps 1 thru 4 cannot be accomplished, at Bernie and Phyl's discretion, the affected piece only will be replaced upon return or the original purchaser may reselect a new piece of furniture of equal value and quality. 5. Once the piece has been replaced, the warranty has been fulfilled and a new warranty would need to be purchased under the same terms and conditions.

• Any staining, tear, burn or puncture caused by acts of abuse, neglect, vandalism, misuse of the treated leather, vinyl or polyurethane or acts which would cause abnormal discoloration or deterioration of the treated leather, vinyl or polyurethane. Everyday soiling or stains, burns, tears or punctures caused by house fires, flooding, wind, lightning, hail, snow, rain, sunlight, harsh or corrosive chemicals, acids, plant foods, fertilizers, bleach, dyes, paints, hair gel or hair sprays, perspiration, accumulated multiple stains or anything not specifically mentioned as covered.
• Treated leather, vinyl or polyurethane which has already been repaired or replaced unless properly retreated with Bernie and Phyl's leather protection.
• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods or the use of improper cleaning materials.
• Furniture that has been located in a business, commercial facility, storage facility, outdoors, school, dorm or rental property.
• Damage caused by moving furniture.
• Dye lot differences

Your furniture will be professionally treated before delivery to resist stains from food and beverage spills, human and pet bodily fluids, stains from grass, grease, ballpoint pen marks, ink, gum, nail polish or nail polish remover, cosmetics, lipstick and crayons. This warranty also covers accidental rips, tears, cuts and burns. All claims must be reported to Bernie and Phyl's by the original purchaser within five (5) days of the date of one of the above mentioned incidents with a description of the stain. Stains caused by any of the above listed substances must first be blotted immediately with a dry, soft, absorbent cloth. You received 2 different bottles of cleaning agents with your new upholstery, one for oil based stains, one for protein stains. Use the proper bottle and follow the directions to remove the stain.

In the event the stain becomes permanent or in the event of an accidental rip, tear, cut or burn, under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty, Bernie and Phyl's, at it's discretion, will provide the following services:

• Cleaning and re-treating of the stained area by our authorized technician, to the fullest possible degree, at no cost to our customer.
• Re-upholstering of the stained, torn, ripped or burned area, to the fullest possible degree, by our authorized technician if the stain cannot be removed by cleaning. Bernie and Phyl's reserves the right to service the affected piece in the home or pick it up for shop repair if needed within 50 miles of our closest store.

If the above steps do not resolve the problem, Bernie and Phyl's, at it's discretion, will replace the affected piece upon return or allow the original purchaser to re-select a new piece of furniture of equal value and quality. Once the piece is replaced, this warranty is fulfilled and a new warranty will have to be purchased to protect the replacement/re-selection.

• Any staining, rips, tears, punctures or burns caused by acts of abuse, neglect, vandalism, misuse of the treated fabric or acts which would cause abnormal discoloration or deterioration of the treated fabric. Everyday soiling or stains, burns caused by house fires, flooding, wind, lightning, hail, snow, rain, sunlight, harsh or corrosive chemicals, acids, plant foods, fertilizers, bleach, dyes, paints, hair gel or hair sprays, perspiration, accumulated multiple stains or anything not specifically mentioned as covered.
• Treated fabric which has already been repaired or replaced unless properly retreated with Bernie and Phyl's fabric protection.
• Damage caused by improper cleaning methods or the use of improper cleaning materials other than those provided by Bernie & Phyl's.
• Furniture that has been located in a business, commercial facility, storage facility, outdoors, school, dorm or rental property.
• Damage caused by moving furniture.
• Dye lot differences.
