Our Story
We have been serving the New England region by providing quality home furnishings and mattresses with incredible value and service since 1983. Bernie and Phyllis Rubin started their furniture business as a single store front in Quincy, Massachusetts, as Convertible Castle. Now with 9 showrooms and a growing e-commerce site, quality, comfort, and value are the guiding principles that help bring our customers the very best products and service.
In the Community
Part of our legacy is giving back, and we are committed to supporting many causes, especially the efforts of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to improve treatments and find a cure for MS. We also support organizations such as the Pine Street Inn, the Boys & Girls Club of Boston, and the Home for Little Wanderers. Additionally, we share our love of baseball by periodically hosting up to 20 children at Fenway Park for baseball game outings in a program known as Bernie’s Baseball Buddies.
